VVVVVV creator makes ‘My Super Meat Boy’ flash game

Indie hipster universes collide as Super Meat Boy enters the VVVVVV dimension.

Two of my favourite 2010 indie games have finally joined forces to create one gigantic mess of addictive frustration.

Created by Terry Cavanagh, creator of VVVVVV, it’s a playable flash game of super meat boy within the style of VVVVVV, entitled ‘My Super Meat Boy’.

Cavanagh says Team Meat asked fellow indie developers to draw warp zone titles, to which he says “After several attempts I didn’t like and scrapped, I figured it would just be easier for me to make a little Super Meat Boy fan game in my own style, and make something around that,”

Here’s the end result.
