Keiji Inafune’s Mighty No. 9 Kickstarter, Rockstar hiring real gangsters for voice-overs, Xbox One launch date announced, and Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn server issues are all on the platter – among other topics – for this week’s podcast.
James, Anthony, and Sean are on the podcast this week and the crew jump into talking about Xbox One and Microsoft’s decision to launch November 22. The logic is there in the European market but not so much the US. James smoothly throws the crew into Final Fantasy XIV server issues and also revisits the topic much later in the podcast. And non-news as far as James is concerend, Rockstar hired real gangsters for voice-overs in GTA V. Only James knew that, though, so at least it was good information. Lastly, the crew talk about Keiji Inafune’s, which no one knows how to pronounce, Mega Man Kickstarter called Mighty No. 9.
For what we’ve been playing, Sean played Memoria and Rome 2; the first being complex and deep, the second being buggy and feeling unfinished. Anthony was locked in to Rayman Legends and James played Game Dev Tycoon and is now better at publishing and developing than Valve, Sony, and Microsoft – combined.
