Nintendo’s eyebrow-raising 2DS, Elder Scrolls Online’s audacious subscription model, and Sony’s two GTA V kerfuffles top this week’s podcast.
James, Anthony, and Leo try to make sense of all the strange news this week. First, Nintendo’s baffling choice to remove 3D from their handheld and create a 2Ds – an ugly one at that. Then the trio discuss ZeniMax’s Elder Scrolls Online’s choice to go with a subscription-based model. And Sony’s screws up twice in one week with leaking GTA V content and freaking people out with a “PS4″ typo. Plus, they quickly discuss the relevance of Steve Ballmer leaving Microsoft within the year of Xbox One’s existence.
This week, James spent time playing Splinter Cell: Blacklist and loved it. Anthony plowed through a bit of Lost Planet 3, Full Mojo Rampage, and Megabyte Punch, and Leo played the original Spelunky.
