The crew talks about the Xbox One launch lineup and its free indie publishing, the launch dates of the PlayStation 4, EA’s new digital return policy, and the Watch_Dogs film.
Gamescom has come to a close and the podcast has reached its 50th episode. James, Anthony, and Jamie spend their time discussing some of the news coming out of Germany such as the Xbox One’s launch lineup and Microsoft’s decision for free indie publishing. The lineup didn’t excite the crew too much and neither did the launch date of the PlayStation 4. James and Jamie were perplexed as to why the European launch date is two weeks behind the US date. But shocking to everyone, EA put forth a digital return policy, which they liked the idea of. And to add to the perplexities of game announcements, they discuss the Watch_Dogs movie announcement.
For what they’ve been playing this week: Anthony played The Bureau: XCOM Declassified and Worms: Clan Wars, James played Space Hulk and finished Tomb Raider, while Jamie spent ten minutes playing Risen 2: Dark Waters because the voice acting was that atrocious.
