James, Anthony, and Jamie return to normal format and have a lot of publisher talk about EA, THQ, and Nintendo. Also, we discuss the Spec Ops writer who believes games should follow George Clooney’s model of movie making, and SimCity’s latest patch problems.
Our regular trio return, and spend most of the time talking publishers. They kick things off with Spec Ops: The Line’s writer Walt Williams believes the AAA industry should follow George Clooney’s model of making games, using EA as a reference, which naturally moves them into discussion about the issues that came alongside SimCity 2.0. The final round of THQ acquisitions are also discussed, as well as Nintendo’s decision to shy away from the traditional big E3 press conference.
For what we’ve been playing, James talks about Injustice, Jamie played a little bit of lots of things, and Anthony glances over his Tomb Raider experience before a tad bit more BioShock Infinite discussion occurs. after Jamie missed the spoilercast last week.
