Like Pikachu? Oh boy, has Nintendo got the 3DS XL for you…

If you’ve been holding off on buying a 3DS XL because it wasn’t yellow, cute or Pokémon-related enough for you, then get ready to open up your wallet and throw your money at Nintendo.

Announced today, the limited edition Pikachu 3DS XL will be hitting the shores of North America on March 24th, just in time for the release of Pokémon Mystery Dungeon: Gates to Infinity. Keep in mind, if you plan on picking up Mystery Dungeon and the Pikachu 3DS XL (or any 3DS XL for that matter), registering them on Club Nintendo between March 21st and April 30th nets you a free copy of Super Mario 3D Land, Professor Layton and the Miracle Mask, Art Academy: Lessons for Everyone!, Star Fox 64 3D, or Freakyforms Deluxe: Your Creations, Alive!

The limited edition 3DS XL will be available at participating retailers (Walmart, Target, Toys R Us, and GameStop) nationwide with an MSRP of $199.99. Included in the box is a 4GB SD card, as well as the disgustingly adorable Pikachu 3DS XL.

So while you and your friends are enjoying your cute yellow Pikachu 3DS XL’s I’ll be waiting patiently for my limited edition purple Majora’s Mask 3DS XL that is sure to come out one day alongside a 3DS remake and nothing Nintendo says will convince me otherwise.
