Sony’s big franchise beatdown is getting an update in the form of two new characters and a new stage.
Playstation All-Stars Battle Royale, Sony’s cross IP brawler, is getting a bit of DLC and what’s more, it’s free. For a couple of weeks at least. Dropping on February 12, Emmett Graves of Starhawk and Kat from Gravity Rush will be joining the fray, and will be free for the first two weeks they are available.
They will both use their unique heritage to fight in a ways that won’t feel like rehashes of other characters, and for a game with a relatively small roster, this is a much needed boost.
There is also the promise of a new stage; Fearless, which is a apparently a mashup of Heavenly Sword and WipeOut.
This is not going to be the last DLC apparently, as Superbot have said that there are even more All-Stars in the works, promising more details in March.
