News: Former Epic frontman Cliff Bleszinski says he has received a mysterious package apparently from Ubisoft, containing a mobile phone with a single number in its contacts database.

Cliff ‘Cliffy B’ Bleszinski, the game designer who parted ways with Epic recently, says he has received a mysterious mobile phone package apparently from Ubisoft.

According to the designer, the package turned up at his room in a hotel he is currently staying at. It contained a mobile phone with the Ubisoft logo as a backdrop, and a single number in the contacts list.

Of course, anyone could deliver a package like this. And old Cliffers does have a good sense of humour. Bleszinski told his Twitter followers that he intends to call the number and say: “I do have a very particular set of skills; skills I have acquired over a very long career. Skills that make me an asset for people like you.”

So far, the artist formerly known as Cliffy B has not discussed what his future career plans are now that he’s no longer at Epic. But he has posted a picture of the phone, which you can see above.
