News: Fifteen days into their campaign and Born Ready’s Kickstarter for space sim Strike Suit Zero is fully funded

Seems some of us still have plenty of money to throw at developers that have decent pitches over on Kickstarter. Born Ready Games is only halfway through its Kickstarter campaign and space combat sim Strike Suit Zero is has reached its goal of £100,000.

Strike Suit Zero is rather unique Kickstarter campaign. This is the usual “we’ve got an idea, help us make it” deal, this is a “we’ve nearly made a game and need a few more quid to finish it off.” It’s also quite a unique space combat sim, you don’t just have an average fighter, but one that transforms into a mech. Yes, it’s every Macross fans dream.

Crowd funding seems to be the rebirth of another genre, what with this and Chris Roberts’ Star Citizen. If you like the sound of what Born Ready are planning go over to Kickstarter and offer some cash. Next stretch goal is modding tools. After that it’s Mac and Linux support.
